PROBLEM
My concern is that the straight bob style makes it hard to add overall volume, and the base color—which has strong red undertones—makes it difficult to create movement and lightness in my hair.
SOLUTION
We created a soft, flowing look by layering ultra-fine highlights to neutralize redness while adding dimension, and by adjusting the cut to give the surface a gentle movement.
BEFORE / AFTER
BEFORE
AFTER
To add natural dimension to a bob style that tends to lie flat, we first applied fine highlights to enhance transparency and create contrast. For the cut, we retained the blunt-cut lines while adding light layers to the surface, bringing out natural movement and volume. To finish, we curled the ends outward and gently swept the surface hair backward, creating a soft, sophisticated, mature bob style that looks elegant from every angle.
