straight-hair
PROBLEM
I have a lot of hair, so it tends to get puffy, and since it's straight, it's hard to add any movement to it, which makes styling it every morning a real hassle and makes me look frumpy.
SOLUTION
We created a two-block cut with the sides and nape neatly trimmed, and applied a strong spiral perm throughout to add dynamic movement while keeping the volume in check.
BEFORE / AFTER

AFTER
In this session, we gave a client with thick hair—whose style would fall apart quickly—a bold makeover, transforming her look into one that’s both clean and alluring. We used a two-block cut to keep the sides, which tend to get puffy, tightly in check, and applied a spiral perm with defined ridges to the top. To finish, simply work in a wet-look product like gel or pomade to easily recreate the defined texture and glossy, wet-look shine that straight hair simply can’t achieve on its own. This style is highly recommended for anyone who wants to “shorten their morning routine” or “enjoy a style with movement even with straight hair.”
